Your car needs water, power, space and shade
Please park somewhere with a water point, a standard power socket within reach, room to walk right around the car, and out of direct sun where possible — wax does not set well on hot paint.

Car Cleaning — frequently asked
- Will this remove my scratches?
- A machine polish removes light swirl marks and haze. Anything you can catch a fingernail in has gone through the clear coat and needs paint repair, not polishing.
- How long does the wax last?
- Typically a few weeks to a couple of months, depending on where you park, the weather, and how often the car is washed. It is a finish, not a permanent coating.
- How long should I book?
- 2 to 3 hours for a hatchback or sedan in reasonable condition. 4 or more for an SUV, or for paint that has been neglected.
- Can it be done in the rain?
- No. The car has to stay dry through the polish and wax stages. If the weather turns, your helper will tell you and you can reschedule.
